@@louisevisagie7900 it's a bit about the Budget you are willing to put into it, Byrne's mini table saw is probably the best you can get, but crazy expensive, proxxon is probably better value

No this is not my first build, I have several ships done, several many years old, all done with CA glue. And I've explained plenty of times, it's faster and requires a lot less bs to keep securing the planks, the only real downside it's expensive, it is way better than using white glue, and no it does not become brittle over the years, no the hulls don't come apart after a few years, but yes I'm sure you, that never saw a hull glued with CA glue are an expert that decided that CA glue is the worse glue to use

First off you don't have to be a asshole and nasty about it. and second please the way you plank. DO NOT stain and varnish hulls. Because you leave a lot of gaps!!! Never watching your video's again. Expert. And let me guess you use ca glue on the rigging too!!

Because i darken all the wood and i paint it, i used the lime wood for all the ship, but keep in mind that i had extra laying arround, it's much softer and easyer to cut and bend, so i decided to do it like this and not use the darker one, wich in this case was sappeli Not everyone paints the ship, so the kit provides the 2 tones

@@ModelShips makes sense. I'm still behind on the build, only getting the upper deck ready, so it's nice to watch someone further in the process 😃

A beginner here: what glue do you use, why not wood glue? The planks still look very whet when you glue them. Are they just whet or also heated? Thanks for sharing!
